Rien Faire é uma banda de Léon (França) que edita hoje o seu primeiro LP de originais através da editora Dur et Doux. O álbum homónimo conta com 10 canções de um pop exploratório, psicadélico e agridoce que se apoia em líricas cantadas em francês.
O cuidado na escrita das letras é notório, com temáticas que tanto são soalheiros como mais introspectivas, e com uma conscienciosa abordagem à arte da escrita, havendo recurso a estruturas rimáticas, onde cada palavra, cada letra tem o seu momento de plena existência. Este pensamento terno em relação às palavras, é evidente e posto em prática em canções como L’oiseau Poupe, que se distende quase como uma lengalenga infantil, isso na letra, porque a nível de melodia sente-se a vertente exploratória e alternativa da banda. Existe uma ligação muito intensa nas melodias e líricas com um universo surrealista de poesia falada, cantada e tocada.
O carácter tanto lúdico como complexo é exploratória na sua mestria, é evidente ao longo dos temas do disco que apresentam canções intensamente experimentais e progressistas como na canção La Viande de Ta Famille.
Um disco que marca a estreia de uma banda que interessará aos fãs do pop mais alternativo, sofisticado e surrealista.

Rien Faire is a band from Lyon (France) that releases today their first LP through the label Dur et Doux. The album that holds the same name contains 10 songs of an exploratory, psychedelic and bittersweet pop with lyrics in French. The care which has taken place in writing the lyrics is one of the highlight of the record. The thematic content is warm and introspective at times and holds a delicate consciousness towards the art of writing. There is place for rhyme structures in which, every word, every letter has its own complete moment of existence. This tender thought given to words is evident and put into practice in songs like L’oiseau Poupe that blossoms into some kind of surreal lullaby and melody wise we can feel the band’s leanings for experimentation and progression. There is a deep connection between the songs and a surrealist universe that is filled with poetry. A poetry that is sung, spoken and played.
The ludic yet complex character of the sound and its exploratory identity is felt all over the 10 songs of the album and one of the highlights is La Viande de Ta Famille.
A record from a band that will appeal to fans of alternative, sophisticated and surrealistic pop.
